IABSCON 2027
XVth International Conference of Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences
Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences presents its premier annual international conference, uniting leading clinicians, researchers, and scientists from across the globe to advance the frontiers of biomedical research and clinical practice.
From the Organizing Secretary
It is my great pleasure and privilege to welcome you to the XVth Annual Conference of the Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences (IABSCON 2027), hosted by the Department of Laboratory Medicine, from 14–16 March 2027.
This year’s conference, themed “Integrating Molecular Diagnostics, POCT-AI, AYUSH, Clinical Research and Technology in Healthcare Management (IMPACT)”, reflects our vision of bringing together diverse disciplines to shape the future of precision healthcare. Rapid advances in molecular diagnostics, including next-generation sequencing, liquid biopsy and multi-omics, are transforming healthcare from symptom-based approaches towards mechanism-driven and personalized medicine. At the same time, artificial intelligence and machine learning are opening new avenues for biomarker discovery, predictive modelling and real-time clinical decision-making.
The integration of point-of-care testing (POCT) and smart diagnostic technologies is further expanding access to timely and reliable healthcare, particularly in resource-limited and remote settings. Equally important is the scientific evaluation and appropriate integration of AYUSH systems within evidence-based healthcare and precision medicine frameworks, offering opportunities to develop innovative and globally relevant healthcare solutions.
IABSCON 2027 aims to provide a vibrant platform for meaningful interaction among biomedical scientists, clinicians, laboratory professionals, data scientists, technologists and AYUSH practitioners. Through scientific sessions, keynote lectures, discussions and exchange of ideas, we hope to strengthen interdisciplinary collaborations and accelerate the translation of molecular discoveries and technological innovations into tangible clinical outcomes.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I extend my warmest welcome to all delegates, speakers, Clinicians, researchers, students and participants. I sincerely hope that IABSCON 2027 will be an intellectually enriching and memorable experience, fostering new collaborations, inspiring innovative ideas and contributing to the advancement of healthcare.
We look forward to welcoming you to IABSCON 2027.
