Abstract Submission Guidelines
Please read all guidelines carefully before submitting your abstract. Abstracts not conforming to these guidelines will not be reviewed.
General Instructions
IABSCON 2027 invites submission of original scientific abstracts in all areas of biomedical sciences. Abstracts must represent original and previously unpublished work. Case reports and review articles will not be accepted.
Eligibility
The presenting author must be registered for the conference at the time of abstract submission. All co-authors are strongly encouraged to register as well.
Originality
Work must be original and not published or presented at any other national or international conference before IABSCON 2027.
Language
All abstracts must be submitted in English. The use of clear, concise scientific language is expected.
Ethical Compliance
Studies involving human subjects must include IEC/IRB approval number. Animal studies must include IAEC approval. Studies without ethics clearance will be rejected.
Conflict of Interest
Any financial relationships, industry affiliations, or potential conflicts of interest must be declared in the submission form.
Abstract Format & Structure
Abstracts must strictly follow the structured IMRAD format:
Required Sections (Structured Abstract)
| Background / Introduction | Brief context and scientific rationale for the study. State the research question clearly. |
| Materials & Methods | Study design, subjects/samples, interventions, and analytical methods used. |
| Results | Key findings with data, statistics, and significance. Abstracts with "results will be discussed" are not acceptable. |
| Conclusion | Concise statement of the significance and implications of your findings. |
Word & Formatting Limits
Title not included in word count.
Title should be descriptive and concise.
First author is the presenting author by default.
Relevant MeSH/scientific terms preferred.
No Tables, Graphs, or Images
The abstract text must be plain text only. Do not include tables, figures, graphs, or images in the abstract body. Standard abbreviations may be used; uncommon abbreviations must be spelled out on first use.
